In 1972, Mohammed Ali made a historic visit to Kuwait that captured the attention of the country. During his visit, Ali was given a hero's welcome by the people of Kuwait. He also participated in a number of events and activities, including an exhibition boxing match at Al-Arabi boxing ring, and an interview he did on Kuwait television with Abdulrahman Al-Najjar presenting.
